Name: Michael Cole
Notes: I live in New York City and have been using Squeak to explore and implement systems for knowledge capture and knowledge management. I am also working on a PhD at Rutgers applying machine learning to information retrieval and knowledge management problems. To support my school work I am building a squeak interface to Lemur, a toolkit of high performance information retrieval modules. One knowledge representation system is being commericalized as a web service. The Lemur interface is being used to support an extension to SmallBlog, cokaBlog, that seeks to represent concepts in blogs using language modeling.
