Rick Thomas (ret@deltanet.com> has been working with me to get OSProcess working on OS X. Ian Piumarta had suggested that OSPP needed to be compiled with -D_REENTRANT in order for signal handling to work with pthreads, as per the clear directions in the FM which I had of course not gotten around to reading. Apparently this works fine, and Rick reports that he can now run CommandShell (which does a whole lot of SIGCHLD signal handling) on OS X.

I plan to do a bit more cleanup, then release an update to OSProcess and OSPP that can at least do useful things on OS X without crashing.

I also added Unix file locking to OSProcess and OSPP recently. Andrew Catton and Julian Fitzell report some success with this, but also some bugs in my attempted Win32 emulation that will need to be corrected. Julian is also trying to get OSPP to compile on Solaris; if anyone has any Solaris advice to offer that would be a big help.
